We are always so happy when our couples want to sacrifice a little of their sleep to watch the sunrise with us and this morning was one of the best! We met Courtney and Dave at Moraine Lake at 5 am and wandered up the rock pile to find a quiet place to watch the sky turn pink. There was a lot of mist in the valley which made for one of the most beautiful sunrises we have seen at the lake. Sunrise is by far our favourite time of day to take photos. The light is soft, the world is quiet and there is something so beautiful about watching the world come alive for the day.
