Canmore Winter Wedding Photographers
As Canmore Winter Wedding Photographers we love exploring new wedding venues in the mountains. The Canmore Golf and Curling Club was such a beautiful one! This was our first time shooting a wedding here and the grounds blew us away. We were lucky to get a pretty mild day for February in Canada and Paige and Dale were able to have the outdoor ceremony that they had planned. Huddled together in blankets their guests watched them exchange the most beautiful vows with the mountains towering behind them.
Their Story
We first met this adventurous duo last summer for their kayaking engagement shoot in the mountains. It was so much fun getting to know them and seeing how well they complement each other.
We love nothing more than when couples introduce elements of their story into their wedding. Paige and Dale both love being in the mountains and being on the river. They both collected river stones from the North Saskatchewan River and their friend painted all of their guest’s names as their place settings. Their guest book was a hand-carved wooden river paddle that everyone was invited to write on. Knowing their history, it was so special to look around the room that was filled with little details like this that celebrated their story.
Dale’s father told us all about a memory he remembers from when Dale was a baby. He remembers having him in a little kayak, playing with him in the water. Now, he couldn’t believe he was now marrying a girl he met on the side of the river after a white water kayaking trip. These two are true adventurers. Each speech told stories of them being outdoors, going on camping adventures and ski trips with their families and cultivating an amazing life together.
